“I currently have Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credentials. I worked 6 years in a children’s crisis center, providing care and meeting the immediate needs of children who were abused, neglected, run-away, or abandoned. I worked within IDOC almost 7 years providing substance abuse treatment, including group and individual therapy. I have worked with Psychiatric Medical Care, developing and facilitating the new Senior Solutions behavioral health treatment program in Southern Illinois. This program brought much needed group and individual therapy to senior adults suffering from mental health illness, loss of independence, chronic illnesses, and many other issues. I currently work with Shawnee Health Services, providing therapy to patients ages 12 and over who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, PTSD, grief, and mood disorders, empowering them to overcome these struggles.”
